White Wagtail ssp subpersonata, "African" Chaffinch ssp africanus and Coal Tit ssp atlas taken in Morocco last month. Sadly no photographs of African Blue Tit ultramarinus.
I have a theory that there are more Northern Bald Ibis in Morocco than there are Houbara Bustard. A single bustard was found near Mecissi but Sandgrouse were absent this far north this spring.
Desperately poor light this afternoon just over the county boundary made digiscoping desperate too. By far the highlight was a nice male Lapland Bunting at Stirtloe.
Bird watcher since I can remember but birding since 1997. Earliest memories of watching nesting birds around Ickleford Common with my Grandfather during the 1960s.
