Not a cloud in the sky first thing this morning. Plenty of Cirl Buntings but they made themselves scarce as the day warmed. Foliage was alive with Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs.
Few birds to be seen but some interesting fauna and flora at this Surrey Wildlife Trust site. Grayling Butterfly, Raft Spider, a Fox Moth caterpillar and a BeeWolf.
The Slow Worm was crossing the cycle track in Willington and running the risk of getting flattened. As for the Bullfinch, I've been trying to pin him down for ages.
Bird watcher since I can remember but birding since 1997. Earliest memories of watching nesting birds around Ickleford Common with my Grandfather during the 1960s.
