Cock Linnet

A wander up Wood Lane this evening produced 18 Linnets, a Corn Bunting, a pair of GSWoodpeckers in cop and two rattling Lesser Whitethroats. Unlike other years I am seeing Lesser's but so far not many Common's.

Egyptian & Nubian Nightjars

Egyptian Nightjar on migration at Yotvata fields and one of around twenty pairs of Nubian Nightjar still breeding in Israel.
