Nordic Invaders
A rare venture out of late to Woburn where eighteen Waxwing were posing along Leighton Street. Superb birds aren't they ?
Robin, I love these shots! Waxwings are such truly beautiful birds and the background & composition of your shots only serves to enhance their velvety loveliness! Really nicely done! I haven't seen any here yet. Lots of Golden-crowned Kinglets this year, more than normal. Check out the dallas Audubon website for some great shots of them (not mine unfortunately!)
Bird watcher since I can remember but birding since 1997. Earliest memories of watching nesting birds around Ickleford Common with my Grandfather during the 1960s.
